Hallo @RFN,
Welcome to this BBS. Thanks for taking the time and trouble to call and
also for completing the questionaire.
I have increased your access level (Z->T) accordingly as you will see, you
have more calls per day, more time in total and some new areas on the board
both file and message.
You also have access to the doors ("O" from main menu), you will find
various performable utilities like password changing, unread mail status
etc etc. and if you want you can play Chess (opening the Chess Door)
with many different players living all over the world.
One of the things that most callers do is switch their "capture's" on and
run all the messages past (RG and N)on-stop) and then read them in their own
time off line. The other way to do this with the main message areas is to
go into the door area and use the Message Mate. It is a programme written
by Harry Green of the Grapevine (GT board 050/003) and packs all the
messages up into a file and downloads them to you, again to read in your
own time.
We have international Echo-Areas and more than 300 MB Shareware on board.
To make these things available for you, we have to call to USA, UK, Holland
and to other cities in Germany. We can't pay the phonebill by our own.
So we give you the possibility to inspect WAP-NET for a time. After that
period, your Level will be decreased from T to W. Then you have three
possibilties:
- Download or capture the Bulletin WAP-NET User Registration
Form, fill it out, print it and send it to WAP Juergen Lorenz.
Ask for a regular account (15.-DM monthly) or, if you have less
than 1200.-DM monthly (brutto), a social account (5.-DM monthly).
- you call WAP-NET and uses the things, you can get with Level W
- you stop calling WAP-NET
If you have any queries regarding how to get around the board then drop me
a note, I can normally reply within 24 hours to you.
Also, if you want a copy of GT to try out then my address is in the
bulletins, send about five 360k disks or the equivalent of 3.5" (I can
also work to 1.2 and 1.44 meg as well).
Anyhow @rfn, enough from me for now, enjoy the board and thanks again for
calling!
Regards
@SAD
PS: Please K)ill this message after you have read it as I am always
(isn't everyone) short of space. [grin]
